Eva Jospin’s exhibition, called “Galleria”, in the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature à Paris : Eva Jospin works the cardboard like an goldsmith. Her sculptures, after a long assembly, represent forest and mineral landscapes that stimulate our imagination.
Her main work is a space to cross in which a gallery, both vegetal and architectural, is made of plinths and niches in the manner of an studiolo of the Italian Renaissance. A work of extreme precision and extreme beauty. The art of transforming an ordinary material, cardboard, into a work of art…
Art and material have no limits. Through our discoveries, we find that there is always a love story, a love at first sigh, between the craftsman and his favourite material. Day after day, he appropriates it, spends hours taming it, transforming it, loving it. And from all this work, fantastic creations arise, made with hands and heart.
