A week of inspiring meetings in New York !
From May 10th to 18th, I had the pleasure of meeting several of New York’s leading interior design firms to present a selection of exceptional French craftsmanship represented by RENÉE PARIS.
In my suitcase: a curated collection of samples showcasing unique materials and techniques — stone inlay marquetry, verre eglomisé, embroidery, enamel lava, carved wood, and many other expressions of French savoir-faire.
The enthusiasm for these crafts and their potential within high-end residential and hospitality projects was truly encouraging. Exciting opportunities for future collaborations are already emerging.
The trip also coincided with New York’s Design Week, providing the opportunity to visit inspiring exhibitions, galleries and events throughout the city, including the Villa Albertine – Amélie du Challard Gallery, Andrée Putman Studio, Royère Gallery…
It was also an opportuniry to visit the ICFF exhibition – International Contemporary Furniture Fair – and browse through spectacular Luxury flagships.
I returned to France with renewed energy, meaningful new connections, and hopefully the beginning of future projects that will help bring French craftsmanship to exceptional interiors across the Atlantic.
